Make a Difference @ Your Library
Hey Teens, do you want to make a difference and offer your voice in the library while also earning volunteer hours? Then join our Teen Advisory Board (TAB). We need your ideas to help us plan future programs and advise us on changes you want to see in the library and in the community! We will meet the first Tuesday of every month, starting October 7th, from 4:00-5:00PM. Snacks will be provided.
TAB Members:
- Earn volunteer/community service hours
- Design and lead library programs
- Advise on library projects and collections
- Meet new friends and have fun!
To Be a TAB Member You Must:
- Be in 7th - 12th Grade
- Attend 5 out of our 8 monthly meetings
- First Tuesday of every month: Oct. 7, Nov. 4, Dec. 2, Jan. 6, Feb. 3, Mar. 3, Apr. 7, and May 5 (Jun. 2 = party!)
- Respect all other TAB members and their ideas
- Respect the library environment
- Attend and/or contribute to 50% of events and programs by:
- Attending monthly meetings
- Developing and leading programs
- Helping out at library events
- Helping maintain Young Adult materials collection and space
- Attending teen programs
- Making guest content for Instagram
- Or creating your own opportunities by collaborating with the Teen Librarian
