ABOUT THE BUILDING

The Shorewood Village Center is a multi-use facility located in Shorewood, Wisconsin, housing a variety of public services and resources. It includes the Shorewood Public Library on the first floor, and offers additional spaces on the ground floor such as public meeting rooms, the Shorewood Senior Resource Center, and the Shorewood Historical Society office. An elevator is located in the central lobby. The building is close to public transit with the Milwaukee County Transit System RedLine just one block away and the GreenLine three blocks away.

Parking options include a four-hour municipal lot on Frederick Avenue and two-hour street parking on Murray Avenue, Shorewood Boulevard, and Frederick Avenue. There are three exterior entrances with automatic doors on Frederick Avenue, Murray Avenue, and Shorewood Boulevard.

The building provides accessible public restrooms with motion lighting available in the library during operating hours and on the ground floor during scheduled activities. Meeting rooms on the ground floor are available for community groups and nonprofit organizations, including a large meeting room with a capacity of 120 people, the Spector Conference Room with a capacity of eight people, and the Village Center Conference Room with a capacity of ten people. For more information on room reservations, you can visit the Meeting Rooms page.
