Whether you are just getting started using a computer, or need to brush up or acquire new skills for work or school, there are free resources to help.
If you need help using a computer or specific software, start with a reference librarian (stop in or call 847-2670) who can answer your question or direct you to another resource to continue your learning. Click on one of the titles below for more information about the resource.
Gale Courses
Instructor-lead online classes at no cost to you. For those with computer skills who want to learn a specific software, technique or tool.
Digital Learn
A set of classes that take around 15 minutes each to complete, you can pick and choose what you need to know. For those with basic computer skills who want to know a specific technique or task such as getting started with email, navigating websites and commonly used apps, operating search engines, mastering cybersecurity, and more. Classes are also available in Spanish.
Digital Skills Library
The Digital Skills Library is an open repository of free learning resources designed to help all adult learners develop the digital skills needed to achieve their personal, civic, educational, and career goals. The library is managed by the EdTech Center @ World Education.
