Wisconsin Conservatory of Music Sample Class

Location: Library Program Room

Children sing, dance, and play instruments with their caregiver as they practice keeping a steady beat, replicating rhythm patterns, and using their singing voice. Wisconsin Conservatory of Music uses the Smart Start early childhood music program that makes an intentional link between these music skills and cognitive skills, allowing children to develop skills in memory, attention perception, and cognitive flexibility.
