Rivers and Waterways

Thursday, September 12

7:00 pm - 8:30 pm

Location: Shorewood Village Center

Join local author Pete Hill and Shorewood High School English Teacher Eric Gietzen in conversation about Pete's new book River Profiles: The People Restoring Our Waterways. Pete and Eric will discuss the process of embedding oneself in the daily work of advocates, academics, community organizers, and technical experts - a process that led to this book. In addition, Eric will share how the Shorewood High School program "Watershed Wisdom Experience" engages students in these issues and how we all have a role in the restoration of our waterways.
