Stone Soup Shakespeare: Pericles, Prince of Tyre

Stone Soup Shakespeare returns this fall with a performance of Pericles, Prince of Tyre. This rarely performed romance features one of the bard’s more adventurous melodramas, and it’s perfect for the whole family. There will be puppets, pirates, and more! The troupe will explore some of Shakespeare's themes – mortality, deception, fate and free will - with the energy and inventiveness of the troupes of players popular in Shakespeare’s day. The event will be held on the library lawn, so feel free to bring a lawn chair or blanket and let the play take you away!
