The Shorewood Public Library continues to provides access to materials, online resources, public computers, limited seating and even wifi hotspots to check out with a library card!
Based on guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the North Shore Health Department, we have specific COVID-19 restrictions in place because we are a public building. Face-coverings and distancing are required in the library, which means we are not a place for anyone to gather for group projects or socializing. We now have five tables available for groups of two to share, but cannot accommodate any groups larger than two anywhere in the library. You'll notice more seating is available in general, and we aren't asking visitors to limit the duration of their visit.
We are still offering curbside pickup for anyone who needs it, and anticipate continuing this service through the summer!
We anticipate that these restrictions will be in place through the summer, and we will be ready to adjust if/when we receive the guidance to do so.
Thank you for your support of the library and one another as we continue through this challenging time!
