On the Move

Large Print books may not be the most glamorous of the items on offer here at the library. But they are important for those of you who struggle with changing vision or vision loss, but still crave the solid feeling of a print book.

Recently we've begun to move their location so they're even more accessible. Now, the Large Print section begins across from the fiction, directly next to the adult computer lab. Not only are the books more findable in their new home, but they are easier to browse through because the shelves are now less crowded.

Previously, the Oversized books and Art Collection occupied this space. The Oversized books are now shelved at the beginning of the non-fiction section, and the Art Collection is now next to the magazines. You will see a few more collections trade spaces as we complete this move - all in an effort to maximize space, and make our more popular collections easier to find and use.
