Welcome to our New Website

Posted Feb 19, 2014

Welcome to our new website. Obviously, it looks different than the old site. We hope it also feels different. Instead of a static list of links, our web place will be more like the actual library – dynamic, diverse, and a fun comfortable place to visit. It reflects who we are, what we do, and how we interact with the community. The new site should make it easier for you to explore, discover, and use your public library.

The Kids, Parents, and Educator pages are designed for kids and the adults in their lives. New features include the ability to register for programs and schedule group visits online. We want it to be a place that helps your children read, learn, play, and grow. We also want kids to see their interests, ideas, and place in the community reflected on these pages. In the coming weeks, we will be adding a space for kids to post their own book reviews, surveys, and a “Cool Kids” section highlighting activities of local young people.

Please take time to explore the website. Let us know how it works for you. Like the library itself, the website will continue to grow and change. We invite you to visit us often – in person and online – to discover what the library offers your family.
