Whether you are just getting started using a computer, or need to brush up or acquire new skills for work or school, there are free resources to help.

If you need help using a computer or specific software, start with a reference librarian (stop in or call 847-2670) who can answer your question or direct you to another resource to continue your learning. Click on one of the titles below (in blue) for more information about the resource.

Gale Courses

Instructor-lead online classes at no cost to you. For those with computer skills who want to learn a specific software, technique or tool.

Digital Learn

A set of classes that take around 15 minutes each to complete, you can pick and choose what you need to know. For those with basic computer skills who want to know a specific technique or task such as getting started with email, navigating websites and commonly used apps, operating search engines, mastering cybersecurity, and more.  Classes are also available in Spanish.

Basic Computer Skills from Wisc-Online

A series of short classes that you can complete one at a time or all at once, until you learn what you want to know. For beginners or those who want to refresh skills like using word processing software or the Internet.
