Location: Shorewood Village Center
Mollie Bartelt and Ann Matuszak, owners of Pixologie, will be on hand to help you preserve your story. Learn about the "Six Common Questions About Photos" and then take a hands-on approach to organizing your print and digital photos with mini-displays. You can also bring in your own photos (up to 50 in good condition) for Mollie and Ann to digitize at no cost. (If you have a flash drive, please bring it along. If not, Pixologie will send you a link to download your images.) For more in-depth tutorials on print and digital photo organization, the Shorewood Library will be hosting two workshops that you are welcome to register for.
Plus, you can help the Shorewood Historical Society grow their archives! Do you have photos or documents relating to Shorewood's history? If so, these items can be scanned at no cost with a copy going to the Historical Society. Not only will you be able to preserve a chapter of your life, you'll be able to safeguard a piece of Shorewood history.
This program is in conjunction with Shorewood's Centennial Name Change Celebration, a partnership between the Village of Shorewood, the Shorewood Historical Society, the Shorewood Public Library, the Shorewood School District, and area realtors.
